Waze is available for quite a few different mobiles and has now been released for the iPhone, hence this post.
It's a free, community led GPS and navigation system that people can add to as they drive. If a road doesn't exist on a map, add it as you go. I'm sure it's still early days at the moment but just read a bit from the link and maybe give it a go :)
