Unsure of peoples feelings on Tennis but after Andy Murray won today I thought I'd throw it out there.

Awesome, Nadal didn't stand a chance!

2010 is the year Murray wins a slam.

One of my girlfriends dog has only just forgiven me for scaring her when i was shouting at the TV when Murray made that break of serve in the 2nd set ;D

He really does pull off some quite magnificent shots - he did a lob in the Nadal game and a lob today that were amazing. Don't usually get up for tennis but I'll be watching at 0830 on sunday.

K so pretty much devastated that Federer yet again beat Murray in a slam final but as its January, I don't feel disheartened - Wimbledon & US Open are still to come this year(French Open doesn't hold good surface for Murray).

I know(as you can see from the above posts)I said this last year, but this Aussie Open is Murrays for the taking now. He beat the guy who knocked out Soderling & Tsonga and he's up against a guy whom on hard courts(like AO is)he hasn't lost a set against to get tp the final - where he's up against Djokovic. A man he's beaten the last 3 times they've played.

C'MON ANDYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

... and a typical Murray follow-up. I'll leave it at that.

Poor bugger. Must be an awful pressure to be the 'only hope in British tennis for the past 75 years'!

Aye - the pressure to perform must be immense. Even more pressure of forever being a 'nearly man' - a la Jimmy White from Snooker.

He's Scottish again now :) Might be British again by the time the French Open rolls around.

Is Scotland not a part of The United Kingdom of Great Britain?

Is this like how everyone is Irish on St.Patrick's Day?
