We have a bargain thread for other sections, so thought we should have one in here. So if you know where to get quality stuff cheap, please share.

I've been looking for reasonable price vanilla pods for a while. Anyway flicking through goodfood magazine. They did a test the other week and rated these as best budget and rated them as very good pods at the same time.

compared to £3 for 2 at sainsburys these are a bargain. Going to get some on Friday so will let you know what they are like. £8.43 for 10 including postage. Or ~67 pods for £33.80

Also looking for large quantities of decent spices and things like harrisa paste.

Bloody hell that's brillaint. 5killos of chipottle paste for £3.99. Not sure I want 5kilos. But darn even filling a few jars up and freezing it makes it worth while. assuming you can find a few other things to make postage worth it.

Good link, used to live near a grocer that sold them loose for £1 each but I've only one left now.

Anywhere good to buy cinnamon sticks with minimal postage? Or somewhere that also sells vanilla pods.
