Reminds me of a certain pic I did years ago when she did the calendar shoot. Lost it now but I remember getting a tremendous amount of grief for it.

I love the Fiat 500 - I'd have one at the drop of a hat (preferably the Abarth) - but, in pink? No, that's just wrong :(

See one of these yesterday with the Plate *LUV 500 can't remember the first letter but Gr8 plate & the Lady & car looked Perfect together.
Like driving one of those posh make up powdery thing compact jobbys.
I love the colour pink, but on cars for some reason it gives me The Rage.
I think they're wicked little cars, but not in pink.
Just think dear, we could cancel the wedding and buy one of these for you instead.

Was nice knowing you mate.
R.I.P DesmoDude. :'(
We can all club together and get one as her wedding car :p
Considering Sinead's favourite hobby, might this not be more appropriate?

Really???
I get the hatred of pink, understandable in my book :), but you really think the 500 is a vulgar design?
I can't say I've read anything negative at all about the retro looks of the thing and your comment really surprised me tbh.
I love the Fiat 500. Love the original one, love the new one. Saw a lovely dark grey one on the way home tonight.

Still selling like hot cakes too, so if you get any kind of discount off one you're doing well.
I couldn't afford one in the foreseeable future.:(

Don't worry, because by the time you can afford to buy something like this there'll be an even cooler car to throw your spends at.
:D I'll buy an old 500 cheap instead ;)

TBH I think they're a very cool and funky little car.
If Fiat and Alfa can finally conquer the issue of shoddy build quality and reliability (Alfa more so) then companies like Ford and Vauxhall will have a lot to worry about because in terms of design the Italians are in a different league.
The only discount they are giving is the £2000 scrappage, no negotiation at all.
Like Kitten, I'm waiting for a year or so and getting one used :D
I meant a proper old one! Like 1960's old. I'll only be getting a new one if a very kind money fairy visits or if I'm very lucky indeed - my buggering car is one month outside the scrappage scheme (and I couldn't make up the difference anyway) and as we only have on-street parking, I'd be out the window all the time like Mrs Mangle everytime someone walked past!
I really like the 500 sport in white- it's a head-turner, and for whatever the reason it does that exactly, I quite like it.
(still wouldn't buy one though- especially in "silly barbie" pink :p)
make up the difference anyway) and as we only have on-street parking
What is the scrappage scheme thing?
CARS ('Cash for clunkers') is the US equivalent scheme, though the UK scheme is based on age instead of MPG

Basically, if you've one a car that's ten years old or more for longer than 12 months, a franchised dealer will give you £2000 off a new car.
I would drive this.
Muscle cars look fab don't they ;D
I would drive this.
Ditto. I love big american muscle cars.
