I can't find my council tax form. But are all council tax paid over 10 months meaning I don't pay this month or march.

Yep, don't pay for two months. Think it's March & April for us.

It depends, my council (Tower Hamlets) splits it over 12 months.

They can divide by 8, 9, or 10. Not 11 or 12.
Think we have Feb/March off too.

I'm pretty sure Southampton is Feb and March that you don't pay because the DD is split into 10 not 12.

I just checked my online banking and they look it out on Jan 15th so I'm 99% that it will be Feb and March which are the free months in Southampton. They didn't take any from me this month Lozza!

Mrs Dym came and told me this, excitedly, last night when she got home.

I then reminded her that our council tax for this year was six months worth, paid over five months, starting in November (because we moved in at the start of October).

No payment break for us :(

we moved in to our house in November and paid more each month to cover us until April so we still go 2 months free :)

maybe you will too?

Just checked and it is actually six months paid over four months (I now remember the incredible difficulty I had trying to set up a direct debit because they wouldn't do it over the phone despite the postal strikes at the time which made it take f-o-r-e-v-er!) which started in December.

So we've, technically, already had our two free months :D

I run a spreadsheet with all our banking on and I somehow had Feb down as payment 10 of 10. Looked back and I'd doubled up at some stage. Still, that's £110 that now goes in to the wedding fund instead :D
