Agent Smith:
I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery.
So Eastenders:
I watched this for the first time in over a year last night.. Sorry what a pile of ****. This has to be the worst programme on the planet. Why on earth is this so popular?
Please tell me because I just can't see the attraction.

No matter how **** your life is someone on Eastenders has it worse.
I left the amp on with sound from the telly on for the dog a few months back, left it on BBC because the news was on and a wildlife prog was on afterwards and she likes listening to the animal sounds. Came in half way through EE and found her cowering under the table because lots of angry Southerners were shouting at her. Poor poochy.

JSB says No to soaps !!!
I did watch the xmas special one though as the Doris i was riding at the time was bang into it.
Didn't put me off my vinegar strokes though. :p
They should turn all the transmitters off for the duration of all Soaps. The results would probably be far more entertaining. :D
It's around about this time of the year when the 6 Nations Cup is on that you start hearing complaints about how much sport is on TV. The hypocrisy being that if you tally up the number of hours showing soaps, sport makes up barely a fraction of it all.
They say that TV is being dumbed down but it's been happening for years with soaps. I just find them so dull and really can't understand the point of them. The writers have to come up with more ludicrous story lines time after time just to try and keep it interesting. What they end up with is something just utterly daft.
I can't stand them. Always seem to be full of people shouting or overreacting which just seems unpleasant to me after a while.
That and like Desmo said, they come up with some absolutely ridiculous story lines!
Our lass actually cried properly when Bradley died. She was massively upset.
