I've had a 360 since launch date but have not been active on it since Gears of War 1/Halo 2.. which is quite a while!!

So, now I have my evenings and weekends back to myself, I went and treated myself to some "essentials" today!

However, I was told by the guy in Currys that the Xbox HDMI pack was a converter from component to HDMI - NOT that all it was was a pack for xboxs that already have a HDMI port :angry:

I took the guys word for it so didn't realise til I ripped open the packaging...

Seeing as I was mis-sold it, am I within my rights for an exchange/refund??


Also, spec me some current awesome games! :D

Bad Company 2 is ridiculously amazing, I can't throw enough superlatives at it, but it's easily the best since Battlefield 2, and even then, I may even prefer it more and that's saying something.

There are a serious number of quality Xbox360 titles, let me know what genre you'd prefer them to be in and I'll let you know what I'd recommend.

Get Crackdown. It's a slightly older game but still stands up against most of the new titles out now, plus it should be rather cheap. Then you can get the second one when it's out later this year.

Well I love Halo and GoW, not really a fan of CoD but have only played modern warfare so it could be a bias view... :p

As for your other problem, I'd be taking the pack back to the shop for a refund. It's your word against their's though so might have a problem. At least you might be able to educate the staff when you get there.
