View Full Version : anyone fix washing machines?
Bit of a long shot but got a washing machine but sometimes the clothes come out sopping wet, but if you put it on a spin cycle it always drains fine.
Does anyone know what this could be, it's a servis M6755B

I just sounds like the wash cycle is finishing too early tbh... So its not finishing with a spin cycle like it normally would, how do you "program" it? By turning a dial, cause i'l stake a guess on the wind mechanism being broken in it, and probably just having to buy another of the same part...
Maybe the coin trap or the drain pipe at the back is blocked. Check those first. Then check the pump which you can do by filling it up with water and running it though a drain cycle, which it should have.

Kink in the waste pipe
Dodgy pump (you can usually hear them)
Overloaded machine
Unbalanced machine (e.g. a big heavy jumper and other lighter clothes can stop it from spinning properly as the centrifugal forces don't balance out.)
Just fixed my Servis machine, similar model I think
Take the back off and look at the circuit bd, bottom left with cable going to motor
check got dmamaged components / tracks etc
common issue
got part from Ebay for £30
just read it and maybe diff, mine wouldnt do spin prog
Cheers guys will work through the list on Saturday and report back. Not to bothered if I can't fix it as it only means an extra spin.
Check the heater is working too. Sometimes the machine won't continue a cycle if the heater isn't coming on. Hot wash should tell you this.
