Last weekend me and Mrs Dym bought a nice shiny 32" Samsung LCD to replace my crappy old 20" Bush CRT.
I loves it :D
The main advantage (from a techie point of view) is that my mediabox now plugs in by VGA and I get a proper 1360x768 resolution which can actually be used (unlike the fuzzy 800x600 resolution I used to get).
Whilst looking around for a wireless keyboard/trackball so that I can control the computer (I have an MCE remote, but that can't be used for browsing internetweb, using iPlayer/4OD etc..) from the sofa I was advised by a friend to look at the Logitech Touch Mouse app, which is free on the iPhone.
Suffice to say it's an excellent little piece of software which is simple to install (you need to install a server on the computer) and pretty funky to use :)
It works on all Windows operating systems, after XP, as well as Mac OS and is a pretty good solution for controlling a media computer without having to buy any new hardware.
Info and download here (http://www.logitech.com/touchmouse).

The microsoft wirless entertainment desktop ones or whatever mbob (they're bluetooth) are fantastic. If you pony up enough you get the full backlit keypad too perfect for dark nights! :D 7000 is my version which only takes batteries and no backlight 8000 is all metal and all the bells and whistles :)

That! Comes with a mouse actually as well i bought mine about 2 years ago but its still *fantastic*. Also has a trackpad/dirrectional pad (switched) built in on the right side which works fairly well for little tasks :)
One thing i've remembered i've totally learnt to put up with, is the function keys are all touch sensitive. And a PITA to find in the dark because ypou can't "feel around" without "pressing" all of them? Terrible design decision, but apart from that i couldn't flaw it in any other way :)

To be fair when i bought mine it was as toss up between the Di Novo and the MS one. At the time the Di Novo was new and totally over priced. But they're pretty much of a muchness now. How well does the Di Novo integrate with the OS?
What i really do love about mine, is a fresh install and you just pair is and go, everything works, which makes a faffing change ;D
I like the way this thread just turned into keyboard discussion and ignored the Logitech Touch Mouse iPhone app he chose to use instead :p

Well I'm thankful Dymetrie.. I didn't know about it :p

I've never come across any keyboard that isn't that way. Only reason to install the software is for the extras like battery status. That goes for the Di Novo as well.
Except of course for the iPhone version - you have to install something to make that work. :p Good idea though. :)

Bah!
Could a passing mod merge the threads, maybe?
Still doesn't excuse your inability to read the OP properly though :p
No real need to merge, we'll just carry on with this one :)
It certainly is a handy little app, used it myself a few times for film watching etc.
Aye it's an awesome app, perfect for staying as lazy as I love to be!
I just wish I could turn my PC on from my phone!
