Right, so after putting my PC to sleep it did that thing where it resized windows and now Chrome when not maximised is a very thin full height window off the left edge of the desktop.

I've tried to clean the window size & location cache a bunch of times any can't get it to reset... any ideas? I can't work with a maximised browser, i prefer windows side-by-side!

Minimize everything else then right click an empty space on the task bar and select Cascade (or Tile). Problem begone.

That's a great example of what not to say on a first date.

I get this a lot these days, especially with Firefox. Most times I can right-click on the item on the task bar, select 'Move' and it manages to anchor to the window.

I really can't believe this has been around for so long...

When this happened to my Ada twitter client I had to do this:

Go to %appdata% in windows explorer. find org.madan... folder. delete prefs.json in Local Store folder.

When I restarted the application it loaded in the middle of the screen. Don't know if this is comparable with any of the issues with the program you're using.

i managed to fix it by maximising the window then using the Win7 snap feature to snap it around and then managed to get it to sit where i wanted.
