I have a fault with my Rotary watch. Has anyone used a watch service / repair postal service before, if so can you recommend one?

I used one that was suggested to me by an old git some time ago but I can't remember who the company was. The old git himself will probably be along soon.

:p

Is it quartz or mechanical ?

If quartz then the repair is probably just a full movement replacement

No it is a mechanical watch.

Excellent, thanks.

You've actually given me a cracking idea. My dad has a watch that is over 30-40 years old (mechanical). Alas I think it required some work a while back and he never fixed it. So my fathers day gift is going to be to get this serviced, repaired and restored :)

I did the same for father in law's 60th, when he was 21 he bought a watch which cost him about 3 weeks wages, I had it serviced and restored for him
