I have more than a handful of weddings this year. Just shot the first one last weekend and rather than starting a new thread every fortnight i thought I would consolidate them all into 1 thread. I will try and keep this thread updated as I go along. I might not post entire weddings in one go, instead of half a dozen randomly chosen ones that pops out of the collection or something that i find interesting as I go along so I apologise for may be some lack of order in some posts.

It's the photos like the ones above which really set your work apart from everyone else IMO. You really have an eye for capturing the details of the day which might have been forgotten if they weren't captured. Really lovely shots :) I'm not normally bothered about looking at wedding pics because they're all a bit samey, but I always enjoy looking at yours.

Thanks Kitten, No 13 is lovely and this is a shot a second or two before that one where her hand was covering her face really balling her eyes out. I prefer the other one as you can see her expression more without the hands and the lady next to her comforting her too.

Oh, the girl is the bride's best friend, they known each other since they were 3 years old.

Still working on the speech, only just got the opening and structure done :(

The photos in this thread are fantastic, I've always loved your work. The colours, depth of field and subject I feel are spot on for weddings and I hope you continue to get business from it :)

OP, your photos are awesome. I like how you play around with the Softening and out of focus side of things.

With the processing, did you do anything to the sky, like say bracketing your shots and then combining the best bit via processing?

I do nothing to the sky in terms of bracketing, i do apply some processing, like exposure control to bring out some details in them.

Plus you might end up with quite a few dodgy shots trying to hold the camera, AND your bouquet, and it might be a bit tricky to get a proper shot of yourself walking down the aisle ;D
