Saw this article (http://money.uk.msn.com/your-cash/articles.aspx?cp-documentid=154142042) earlier which states that 61% of Essex girls think of themselves as cheap dates followed by 59% of ladies from Liverpool and just couldn't help laughing - there's nothing like perpetuating a good stereotype is there...
On the other hand Woking, Winchester and Oxford are apparently to be avoided if your cash flow situation is not conducive to treating the object of your affection lavishly so all us tight-fisted Scots should not venture there.
I doubt it really needs said as people are bright enough here but it's an article from MSN so is more than likely complete nonsense and it's just meant as a bit of fun.
My wife is a cheap date generally, but her tastes in jewelry can be a bit expensive!
I've been on some 'expensive' dates and been literally so bored I'd have climbed out the window to escape. And I've been on some walks on the beach in the rain, eating chips out of the paper. I don't think I need to tell you which one was the best.
You don't have to spend a lot of money to take me out, but you have to be bloody special and make me feel special too. But that doesn't mean spending stupid money. I measure my worth (and that of my partners) in more than monetary terms. That's all I have to say about that.

Aww how lovely missy :) x

That's pretty much Kari's thing. Flashing cash rarely impresses her. Listening to her and treating her like a human being? That's most important.

Sorry about that, I thought it was an important message to pass on though.
Way too sensible and non-reactionary Kitten, please try it again with feeling this time. :p :)

I assume Scotland isn't listed in there because a Scotsman's idea of a date is to tell the closest woman to 'brace herself?'
better? ;)
When you combine the original article, and then factor in this:-
