Read this in the iPad version of The Times today in an article about the first 100 days of the coalition government and thought it was indicative of Nick Clegg's shifting loyalties.

Mr Clegg supported Holland in the world cup final - choosing to side with his Dutch mother over his Spanish wife - but switched allegiance at half time in protest at the aggressive tactics of the Dutch.

At least on this occasion he switched sides before the winner was decided ;)

He's coming to Bristol this weekend to do a Q & A, I've applied for a ticket so I can go and ask him a question.

To be fair, I did the same :D

Supported the Dutch but then watching some of the match, decided I wanted them to lose ;D

Is it-

'Why can the that bunch of aging NIMBY's on the local council torpedo the planning permission of the regional stadium we so desperately need despite reccommendations from experts and planning officers to the contrary?'

Ha no but if I got two questions that would be my second. It's to do with all the planned cuts, yet at the same time they keep banging on about early intervention, which is something the project I work in does (despite us currently being under threat.)

Talking of the stadium, have you signed the petition yet?
