I just picked up an album by a band who I had seen advertised but had ignored, as I didn't like the advertising; because I don't listen to the radio my exposure to new music isn't great and so I don't know if they got much air time but I remember the posters being up in the underground when I went up to London a few months ago.

I couple of weeks ago we were wondering around Bluewater and I heard a track which I really liked and could have been a couple of my favorite bands from the 80s and 00s but wasn't quite right. I Shazam'd it on the iPhone and it was this

psuRGfAaju4

I downloaded the album and have only listened to the first few tracks but I'm really liking it and if I hadn't been in Bluewater that day at that time I may have missed out completely

I think that song in particular, is like marmite from what I've heard around school. I know people that hate it.. I personally think its epic! :)

I was tempted to get the album, maybe I'll give it a sample and make a decision!

I think this song absolutely blew up in America. I definitely remember that chatroulette improv guy doing a rendition of it at the request of some random.

I don't like it!

Not a fan of the Speak and Spell singing, but I generally hate that effect!

Deliberate autotuner abuse is a bit Marmite :D

Its definitely a Marmite thing. I hate that song. Kari loves it.

Listen to the lyrics, and its utter nonsensical claptrap, and any time I'm in the car with the radio on you can guarantee I'll hear it played. God awful piece of trash.

No offence meant, I'm sure you'd say the same thing about some of my choices of music ;D

Indeed he did, I thought the video was epic up until that point ;) j/k

Chatroulette improv guy is widely believe to be Ben Folds from Ben Folds 5 by the way.

My Spotify seems to be broken (out of disuse, no doubt), but if I can fix it, then ta. First impressions are 'buy me'. :)
