......is Oatibix.

I just put 4 Oatibix biscuits in a bowl and, knowing they soaked up a fair bit of milk, added about 3/4 of a pint of skimmed milk - more than enough, one would think. By the time I got halfway through, I had a foodstuff with the same consisency as mortar. Honestly, you could build houses with the stuff

I would recommend a minumum of 1/4 of a pint of milk per biscuit when eating this stuff (lucky I only buy skimmed milk).

I would recommend chucking oatibix in the bin. Tried them once....never again ::/:

Not so keen on the full sized ones but the bitesize ones are nice.

It's a bit like porridge; you can just keep feeding it milk and it keeps soaking it up. I don't think there is a limit :D

Having discovered the most absorbent substance this morning, I have discovered the second hottest substance known to man this afternoon - Wetherspoon's bangers and mash. Good job I had a pint of IPA to hand to keep the blistering on the roof of my mouth to a minimum.

I'll bite, what's the hottest?

(melted cheese in a toastie, or sausage rolls from the butchers in Connaught Avenue when they're fresh out of the oven?)

I was gonna go with Greggs pasties.

Both wrong.

McDonald's apple pie filling.

I believe crooks use the apple pie filling as a thermal lance.

All wrong. I think it's the slice of tomato that you put in a toasted cheese sandwich that slides out with your first bite and flaps down over your bottom lip, temporarily burning it off. You only ever make one toasted sandwich like that!

I'd also lay claim to the tomato sauce underneath the cheese on the first bite of a piece of pizza straight out the oven.
