what colour tie should I wear with black suit and medium-dark blue shirt

I'd wear a dark red one.

But then again, I have no fashion sense and am in no way metro.

agreed - for a fairly conservative look, dark blue, possibly with a lighter pattern (perhaps lighter blue or silver depending on the occasion) to lift it.

I have something I want to post, It's very NSFW in terms of swearing but funny.... probably more suited for Piggy, Desmo and myself (and anyone else who gets designs from customers) but others who have design knowledge (not the kind in the i want to post) will know!

Will see if I can find it.. and start another thread

Thanks guys, so dark blue seems to be the opinion, it;s described as navy, but I would say on the lighter side than most.
