The Chrysler building in New York. I really liked the moody sky that day.

Taken with a Canon Powershot SX210 IS, not an S90 as I thought it was.

Yes, the lobby is very cool. I took pictures with my other camera though and couldn't find a setting that made it look any good.

Here are two classic examples of photos that my EOS would not be able to take. I know they are both ever so slightly over exposed, but in both examples if I shot this with the EOS so that the sky looked well defined, the buildings would be under exposed and would be lost in shadow. I doubt you'd see any detail on the black building at all, certainly nothing on the back of the lamp post. If I'd shot so that the buildings were well defined then the sky would be left over exposed and you wouldn't get the effect, probably no blue colour at all.
