View Full Version : Argh, they've changed Google

WTF. They've changed Google.

I didn't mind the drop down box of suggestions but now it seems to do some kind of search on the fly and the most annoying thing about it is now there's an arrow that runs up and down the links instead of scrolling the page. Now when you use a laptop and rely on the arrow keys it scrolls really pathetically badly rather than just moving the page up and down LIKE IT HAS DONE FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS ON THE INTERNET

This has really annoyed me. Why change something for the sake of changing it?

Spec me a new search engine. And not Bing.

It's awesome once you get used to it, it really is. Saves you a ridiculous amount of typing / clicking.

Guys, leave us alone to the world we're used to. We're old, we don't like change. :p

Turned off here too. Information overload.

I've noticed the new page preview too. Keep missing the link and getting a preview instead. Might get used to it though.

I don't mind the instant searching but like Jonny said, I don't like the fact it scrolls up and down the results with the arrow keys rather than scrolling the entire page.

I'm not seeing anything different here...

*grimaces at IE6*

Mayhap I should try it on a proper browser?

;D Haven't used scroll bars in yearssssssssss.

Mouse wheel or multi-touch touchpad ftw!

It's not the scrollbars. Who'd use them? :p

It's the arrow keys. The mouse is further away. :)

Though I do use the mouse wheel a lot
