View Full Version : Do you need a cable?

I have more cables here than I know what to do with.

Sometimes though, people need a cable for something or other and they just don't want to pay through the nose for a cable, even a cheap one from eBay.

So, I am giving away every cable I have that I am not using, free of charge (bar one or two I suspect!).

Cables I don't have:

Network Cables
Kettle leads / "cloverleaf" type power cables

I probably have at least one of most types of cable for anything computer related or maybe AV stuff too!

So, name the cable and I will tell you if I have it and a rough estimate of how much postage is going to be for it :)

I have other stuff I am giving away / selling but I will bob that in the for sale thread.

Have you got any 50 ohm patch cables with PL-259s, N-Types or BNC connectors on?

Possibly with N-Type, no chance of BNC though. If I do have those they will be in a box in my parents loft and will only be short.

I'll make a note to have a look when I am next there which will be next weekend I should think!

N-Types are my connector of choice so I'll happily take any you've got providing the cable is 50 ohm. I can't imagine there would be any other demand for them!

Thank you :)

Unlikely I know, but have you got a component cable for a Wii lying around?

Sorry mate, I don't have one that isn't in use :(

Mr Feek, I am sorry to say that the only 50-ohm stuff I have is currently in the back of a wifi antenna and the run of cable I had with it has been misplaced at some step of the way :( If I find them at some point I will let you know as you are more than welcome to it!

Not entirely computer related but if you have any 3.5mm stereo M-M patch cables, I'd be interested. Only catch is the plugs need to be small enough to fit through my iPhone's case (which many don't).

No problem DRZ, it was a long shot anyway but thanks for looking. What about (and this is an even longer shot) 450 ohm ladderline?

Another long shot: mini HDMI (for camcorder) to HDMI cable?

This is the sort of thing I will probably have millions of. Can you give me a rough diameter that you need the plug to be?

Woe is me for never replying. Sorry. :(

I don't have a specific size. The sort of average-sized plug you find on in-ear headphones like CX300/CX500 fit just fine, but much bigger and it becomes a problem.
