or

.. and why?

Neither.

I don't see the point in thumbnails when the full sized images are neither massive in dimensions or file size and I dislike sites that waste so much screen estate.

Full size images using more of the screen width would be my suggestion.

Definitely the first one.

Mostly because it looks more uniform than the second.

Of course, if the images were all the same height in the second then it would probably look better...

The first one - less busy and clearer to read :)

2nd when viewed from my phone. Just to be different!

I preferred the 2nd one... no idea why though!

Nuts. I voted second, I meant to vote first. Normally I'd say second but for technical stuff like that I think first works best.

As burble said sites that waste so much screen estate.

Is there a reason you have gone for 800 x 600 layout... I doubt there are many people who would be viewing your site with such small screens these days

I didn't go for any specific screen size layout, it's just a template in iWeb.

Give yourself some extra space then if you can.... you'll find you have more options to work with then.

Damnit, I just found the option to change the screen layout size. I'm going to redo the whole website.

/edit - I might not do the lot, some pages still seem to suit being narrower. Hmm *ponders*

/edit2 - the second link above has been resized.

To me that looks tonnes better.
