Hi,

the wife has 3rd generation iPop Nano and I am using Hand Brake to convert a DVD to Mp4.
How ever the iPod via iTunes will not take the file.
'File was not copied to iPod because it not be played on the iPod'

Now the G3 is a video capable iPod, so why is it not playing ball ! ?

Advice wanted please ?

Many thanks

Found this (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aje0TSkpZyGsivYOiVjx6LO2xQt.;_ylv=3?qid =20070809193913AAh4PdI) which may help:

iPod only support Video formats: H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 768 Kbps, 320 by 240 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec.

that's probly because it's just in .mp4 format not sized.. for iPod's. What you should do is once your in iTunes go up and click on 'advanced' then 'create ipod or iphone version' and it'll convert it to a format that will work on your iPod then delete the other version of the movie if you want.
