Just watched the trailer for Super 8 (http://www.super8-movie.com/). Quite like the look of this, it brings back a sort of nostalgia for movies I used to watch way back (not sure why that is). I quite like what Spielberg does usually and J J Abrams too so I hope it lives up to what I'm expectng. Also not knowing what 'it' is... OooooOooo
However, UK release date 10 weeks after the USA?!!:shocked::shocked: Seriously guys WTF?? This isn't the 1980s, everyone (whether they like it or not) is most likely going to get the 'not knowing' bit spolied for them. Also I've got to wonder how well it's going to do at the box office after the 10 week delay. Ok, I won't be downloading it, but you can bet a big chunk of the world (Portugal/Norway/Finland/Sweden/France/Germany over 1 month wait, Netherlands/UK/Spain over 2 months wait) will be. Truthfully, if the mystery gets blown for me chances are I won't bother going to the cinema to see it unless it gets fantastic reviews, I'll just wait for the dvd instead.
