Adding photos to threads?

I'm thick as mince(I think).

How is this done? I searched it and the instructions say to check the User CP and go to pictures & albums to "add album" but thats nowhere to be seen!

if you do an advanced edit you can add attachments towards the bottom of the screen

It may not have been available to all before but it should be on now. Go to "Go Advanced" to post and the the "Manage Attachments" section will allow you to upload from your computer various file types :)

after a few hundred sit ups it will, my housemate was off work for 3 days so I had a heavy weekend last week & it shows!

Does that make the image appear in the thread or just post a link to it on imageshack? Because I have a photobucket account and that just brings up the link when I try to attach it.

If you have photobucket, copy the BBCode link it provides you, the one with [img] in it, that will work fine.

You can use photobucket and use the link with the [img] tags. That will show the pic in the thread.
