View Full Version : Mwahahaha
Someone owes Daz a fiver :p
360 bought from Gamestation just now, £310 for the premium with PGR3 and extra controller and Dead Rising.
They didn't have any new copies of Dead Rising so they threw in a second hand limited edition one :D
I haven't unpacked it yet because 360s are a bit heavy for me and I had to walk back from the bus stop with that and a load of food shopping, ahem.
Right....breath regained

Hope you have lots of fun playing and don't get sick of all the noodles you'll now have to eat! ;D
Congrats !!!!
Are you still getting a Wii? I am holding off / saving for a Wii instead getting a 360.

Not at launch no. That's partly what pushed me into the 360 purchase, I just can't make up my mind about the Wii now.
I'll buy it at a later date but I knew I realllllllly wanted a 360 :)
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:D:D
Shame mine has gone now though, cant play you on live :(
Right, what Arcade games are recommended? I bought Doom and SF:2, couldn't resist :embarassed:
And do I need anything else besides a play n charge kit that I'll pick up tomorrow.
How much are they in the shops? Play have them for £13.
£15 according to the gamestation site :) If they're £20 in store I'll get it off play.
That reminds me, they had Live subscriptions for £30 if that's any good to you.
Does that come with any points? Play have it for £35 with 1000 'free' points.
Not that I saw, might as well go for the Play one then. 1000 points = about £9 I think.
One of us. One of us. :D
Play n charge kit is a must. Any other hardware on top of that is just a bonus if you have the premium already; maybe the wireless nubbin if you have a wireless network...
Nah no wireless network as the damn housemates didn't want it :(
Was quite impressed by the amount of stuff in the box, it was a bit neverending at first ;D
Yup :D
Although I do seem to have spent more time playing Doom than Dead Rising :embarassed:
Loving PGR3 :D
Doom rocks. When I can convince the wireless adapter to talk to my network again I'll be buying Doom and Guantlet.
I've bought Doom, SF:2 (which seems to be bloody hard compared to the SNES version) and Geometry Wars. :)
No more arcade games for a while though, it's too easy to buy them.
Can you multiplay Doom over Live or just locally?
You can play it over live :) And it's got a co-op mode \o/

Wooo, knew you'd never last till Christmas! Good choice in Arcade games too, I love Geometry Wars as much as the majority of proper games I've bought :)
I'm pleased that everyone had such great confidence in my willpower to last till Christmas ;D
You all know me too well.
Wooo congrats Haly :) Gears of War soon ;)

  Wonder if in other ways your willpower is weak... :p
My willpower is only ever weak if really I want to do whatever it is but think I shouldn't :p

Now that could cover a multitude of sins:evil:
Random post, Contra is coming to XBLA, with online co-op play just like the old school arcade :D
I ****ing loved that game. Used to spend all my 20p's on it.
I vaguely remember Contra. I'll keep a look out for it on XBLA.
Am I being a prat? :embarassed:
Just tried setting up the second wireless controller for my housemate's bf to have a go and it just keeps flashing green and doesn't link up.
As far as i know I've followed what the manual says and we tried loads of combinations, it just keeps flashing :/
Should log on as the second quadrant. Does the second controller work as the primary one if you turn the first one off?
Hmm no :(
Just keeps flashing.
Trip back to Gamestation needed? :( It was with the pack with PGR3.
You're pushing the link button on the front of the 360 while the controller is flashing (ooer) aren't you?
Link button?
Oops.
Erm.......forgot I asked anything ahem :embarassed:
Am I being a prat? :embarassed:
;)
I would point and laugh but I had no idea that existed! Mine just worked. I guess it's pot luck whether it has to be trained or not when you get another pad.
I'm trying to think of a good excuse but I can't :(

Noob :p
Stan :)
I'm trying to think of a good excuse but I can't :(
You can always flutter your eyelids and pretend to be a poor innocent girl with little grasp of technology.
No one would probably believe you, but you could at least try it :p
Oh sod that, I'm not that desperate for an excuse :p
I'd rather just be a prat than a poor innocent girl with little grasp of technology. ;D
