Well its going well so far. I'm almost at the halfway point regarding target funds and my training involving cycling & running & core stability exercises is well under way.

Anything you can give would be really appreciated.

No rush! The race isn't until October so whenever you can afford it would be very appreciated.

Desmo, will post pictures of anything the website has & whatever my girlfriend takes at the race.

Just been told a couple of my mates are doing it as well after being inspired by me. Dressed like Braveheart! Safe to say they'll be a few minutes behind me!

So its 4 days til race time and I've officially hit my target of £250 with people pledging me fivers here & there still so its looking like I'll break my target.

Target has been officially smashed by £30 at time of writing! £280

Just packing up my stuff now, leaving tomorrow morning to prepare & celebrate 3 years with my other half a day early :D

She'll be in charge of photos & videos from our end but I'll hopefully end up on the website photo album if I pull a few faces & beast the race!

Well, I did it! I got absolutely caked in mud, river clay & possibly the snot of other competitors but I did it! Think I did about 45 minutes roughly, set off at 12.30 and when my gf took my medal photo it was almost 1.15.

At the time of writing I have smashed my target by raising £301!
