Happy New Year, it's just coming up on 12:30am Jan 1st, and I'm sitting watching my servers to make sure they cope okay with the influx of merry couples registering to get.. umm.. unionised?

Effective midnight Civil Unions are now legal in the state of Hawaii, as does a new online system to purchase marriage licenses (In every state you have to get a license from the Department of Health to get Married or Unioned(?!)).
