Goodwood FoS this year?

edit:- At mates wedding apparently :D whoopsie. I've asked them to move it back a week but she is having none of it. Next year, but I will be going to the revival!

Revival will be a good one this year.. it being the Cobras 50th birthday!

We shall be there for the whole weekend!

Went to the FoS a good whole ago now, wish we'd have gone for the 2 days, was excellent.

Has anyone here been before and could recommend nearby accomodation? Thinking of going for the weekend and stopping over on the Saturday night.

We camped. What I would say is book accommodation early!

Ideally to do the FoS properly you need 2 days. Spend one day wandering around everywhere looking at everything close up, then on the other day get yourself a good spot next to the course first thing in the morning and stay there for the day watching everything go up the hill.

Try and do both in the same day and you'll miss too much.

I'll probably do the Revival this year but not the FOS. Well worth going but I prefer the Revival for a one day event.
