Best place to buy 'last years' apple products?

Seeing Toby's thread about his iPad has made me think about my laptop. I have a rather old macbook pro, from mid 2007, and have been thinking about upgrading it or buying an iMac.

Whilst I love apple computers, the prices are a little silly and if I can get one of last years ones for a good saving then that would be excellent.

Does anyone know where the best places to buy last years stuff is, is it going to be an ebay job?

There was a MacBook pro refurb on hot uk deals recently for about 700. Have a search, I'm afraid I can't remember the retailer but it might still be available.
