Kawasaki ZX750 P4 T reg with 13k up it, Proper straight bike & it's MINE  + :party1: + :party2:
Paid cash for it an hour ago & it gets delivered this afternoon.

I haven't  + ;D
I did my theory & hazard perception last Friday & scraped a pass, I have my first practical lesson for my Mod 1 on May 1st.
I've been looking for bikes since selling my Chopper & this is the best one I've seen by a country mile for the money I had. I thought I would have to compromise but I am honestly happy in every single way with the bike I've ended up with.

that'll shift some :)
Should be good for 170mph
Lessons start tomorrow, Hoping to get it all done by next week but it is dependent on when a Mod2 can be booked.
All I could do was stand & stare at it today. ;D
Awesome! One day I'll get round to my bike test & hopefully a similar purchase ;D

First day of lessons today involved riding in the rain for 7 hours & to be honest the rain took my mind off all the crap you have to go through. My helmet started hurting my ears after about 4 hours & the instructor did his best to ruin any hearing I had left by shouting like a **** most of the time when talking would have been adequate. My glasses steamed up constantly & so did my visor it was Great. About as great as having a broom handle shoved up your ring.
I can honestly say there were times when I just wanted to deck somebody ANYBODY ;D & go home.
Thankfully after being home for an hour or so & a couple of smokes I am finally getting over the nightmare which was today.

Do you still need to have L plates or is MOD 2 a full license?

That's it now mate No L plates & I can ride any bike I like.
How it goes.
1. CBT
2. Theory & Hazard Perception tests.
3. MOD 1
4. MOD 2.
If you are under 21 you have to ride a bike restricted to 33bhp though, Those over 21 can ride whatever they want once passed the above.

Well I've been out & done 150 miles or so in 2 trips out. Took me about 50 miles to feel proper comfortable but I have to say the bike is really easy to ride & just goes anywhere you look. I've practiced some emergency stops & the brakes are that good my eyes nearly popped out.
Speed/Power wise it just seems endless & the acceleration just blows me away. Biggest buzz so far has been powering out of a left hander going into a right hander that is on a rise so you can't see the road where you are going, The bike & me went weightless & not being able to see where you are going makes you proper **** yourself. ;D
