Ok now that I have watched them all... 4,5,6,1,2,3 I wanted to chat about it somewhere (not on FB as apparently I am not the last person on the planet not to see them).
I won't be doing spoiler tags, hence the title. Just an excuse to post things that I have noted:
I always thought that this was a boys film so stayed away... whereas one of the most important characters is kick ass! :D (Leia) I guess knowing that she was a Princess, I automatically assumed that she was pathetic ;)
I can't remember if it was because I have seen Phantom Menace, or if it was glaringly obvious, but I knew Padme was Queen Amidala... why else would they focus on her character so much?
Likewise when Yoda said there was 'another' obvious the sister was going to be Leia because the 'romance' never developed between Luke and Leia... that would have been a whole new story there!
R2D2 is my favourite character :) he is so cute
As predicted C3PO appears in all the movies. I like him too. :)
I can't believe that one of the doctors from Holby City appeared in Phantom Menace! Bit of a change in career!!! Then to have disagreements with the writers to ensure you don't get another gig... back to UK TV it is then Hugh Quarshi!
I was disappointed with Amidala... she started off so tough and strong then fell in love and it was all downhill from there. It was all her fault that Anakin turned. IT WAS ALL HER FAULT!
Amidala has numerous wardrobe changes.
Why in Revenge of the Sith, has no one questioned how Amidala became pregnant or who the father was? Did I miss this?
Red light sabers are for the bad guys.
Jar Jar Binks is annoying.
Trivia for the little kid who played Anakin. Very sad that because people didn't like the film and that other kids teased him he gave up acting :( he would have become a good actor I thought he was very good.
I can't believe Gregg Proops is in Star Wars - random!
Edit: Keira Knightley apparently played Padme in Phantom Menace... I did not know she was even involved with the Star Wars! Perhaps this is what they planned.
I also noticed in a scene when Anakin is looking for his mother that his shadow resembles the Darth Vadar mask... bit of a giveaway (if people didn't know already?!)
Finally discovered what Wilhelm Scream!! Always wondered what imdb trivia was on about!
