That's me. I used to live in northern Minnesota. But the winters got to be too much so we moved to Utah. Still here, but I'm getting the itch to move again. Which is made infinitely more difficult by the fact that we own a house here. Not like the glorified hunting cabin we had in Minnesota, this is a real house. :)

Yep I remember seeing some pretty grim winter pics.

I hope that tree has some good roots! You still have loads more space there than in the UK.

At some point (eventually) I'll be doing some kind of road trip in the states. Did some driving on a tour of the east coast recently and it was fine.

People drifted away; real life became more important than online friends, relationships changed, people changed, people shared more on facebook and less on here.
