I'll post pics of the bike and the car once they've been cleaned up a bit. The bike is a mass of dead flying insects and I made the mistake of parking underneath the TV aeriel so the birds that use it as a pirch have been making a mess of my shiny red paintwork :(

I don't have a car.
I work away from home more than half the year and at least half the time I'm home, I wouldn't be legally fit to drive - so not a lot of point really ;)

It's not speedy, its not sexy, but it does the job. I miss my previous car though, a 2.5ST V6 mondeo. I loved that car :(

...so not really much point. I'll miss not having a car to call my own. I won't miss having to pay out shedloads of money every time it so much as farts and breaks down.

I think you've done the right thing tbh.. it's cheaper IMO to get a taxi everywhere.. I've just shelled out£800 for a new clutch, £200 on a new exhaust, a new tyre plus service and MOT.. I wouldn't mind but a don't drive the damn thing. >:(

On a side note, I've lost one of my wheel trims, if anyone sees it I'd like it back...

I think I saw it just outside Aberdeen the day before yesterday.
If it's still there next time I'm through, I'll pick it up and pop down with it.

That’s my first and second motor side by side. Gah I miss the old Polo where getting it upto 70 was a challenge. It did teach me how to hold speed round corners/roundabouts though :)

Current car is a 1.8 Focus Zetec. I really enjoy being able to throw it into the corners at very quick speeds, its embarrassed quite a few motors :D

Ohhhh the heap of junk is slowly showing some problems took a wee look at the log book and...

Cambelt will need doing soon.
Butterfly valve in the air intake is sticking (sorted 111!!11)
Clutch is near the end of it's useful life (they get higher and higher as they get knackered in the mondeo)
Clutch release springs are a bit furred up.


Might have to say goodbye to the trusty steed soon. :(
