Went down to a demo at our local fireworks suppliers and these are my first attempts at fireworks. There would be plenty more but the battery ran out and I forgot to bring the spare :embarassed:
Comments and Criticism welcome :)

Wow.. you did really well there. I've tried in the past to take photographs of fireworks and they're not the easiest of things to get pictures of.
I'm no photographer but those look awesome! Especially the 1st and 3rd.
I've had a go at snapping fireworks in the past and failed miserably.
Nice one.

Gorgeous! :)
/Must remember to buy a tripod tomorrow
Not bad. Shame you couldn't get a wider angle to show more of the "stalk". Its probably best to shoot fireworks in portrait for that reason. They usually look like dandylions. Basic tips for shooting them this weekend. 2 second exposure, manual focus set to infinity, aperture set to f/8 or f/11, push button when you see/hear it going up and hope :) Of course use a tripod. If you still get camera shake from pushing the button set the self timer on.

Nice. :D
I'm off out to the fireworks tonight at Earlham in Norwich.
Usually a damn good display. Some go 2000ft into the air before going BOOOOOOOM! :D
*tones down pyromaniac mode...*
They are good pictures though. Colours are nice and vibrant and there's nothing really bad to say about them.
I'm just setting my camera up on the tripod and using a shutter release cable to take the photo's when I feel like it and then sort through them tomorrow. :D

Lovely photos - I really like them.
I tried taking picture of lightning a few times - it didn't come out well at all...
I'm easily impressed with photography, I'm sure I'd find things amazing that Pete would find rubbish :embarassed:
