Morgan Spurlock's 30 Days six part series (Season 2) started tonight on More 4. I've been waiting for this to come out and I almost missed it  otherwise I would have posted a heads-up earlier (sorry!)
I'm sure everyone has heard of his movie "Supersize Me" and this is similar...
An unscripted, documentary-style program where an individual is inserted into a lifestyle that is completely different from his or her upbringing, beliefs, religion or profession for 30 days.
Here (http://www.amazon.com/30-Days-Season-Morgan-Spurlock/dp/B000EXDRZ8/sr=8-1/qid=1163644700/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-4564455-0314341?ie=UTF8&s=dvd) you can watch the Amazon Fishbowl video where Morgan explains more and talks about the new series.
Season one covered Minimum Wage, Anti-ageing, Muslims in America, Straight Man Living in a Gay World, Off the Grid and Binge drinking Mom, although the last one I obviously managed to miss :(
Tonight episode was Jail. Never one to shirk a challenge, the first film sees Morgan Spurlock swap his comfortable home, as well as his freedom, for a tiny 10 by 7 feet prison cell with up to three other inmates.
Next week he covers Immigration - we'll see the unlikely pairing of a border patrol guard with an illegal immigrant Mexican family in East Los Angeles.
I haven't yet watched one of these that hasn't moved or amazed me in some way - a really fantastic documentary. If you liked Supersize Me, then you have to see some of these!
More information as well as clips can be found on the More4 (http://www.channel4.com/more4/documentaries/doc-feature.jsp?id=7) website. :)
