I have just purchased a Samsung 32'' LCD TV ( LE32N73BD ) in Black. I must say it looks sexy, though terestial picture is not as good as CRT. however when HD becomes more main stream the picture will be amazing ! ! !
The one thing I have noticed is that BBC1/BBC2 broadcast quality is shockingly poor. At first I thought it was my TV, but every other channel looked OK.
Yeah, I noticed that with Top Gear. I'm not one to notice that normally but I happened to be going through part of it frame by frame and the noise was shocking.
I hope not, but HD on Freeview could be a bit of a let down. Fortunately, Sky has the bandwidth to do a decent job of coping with it.

I must agree, the BBC quality is poor, though not as bad as Ch 5 !
is there any HD channels on Free View ?

I would expect normal broadcasting channels to be degraded on higher resolution panels.
