Yes, this is in the right forum.

Vodafone finally turn up to install a car kit in the Feekmobile for me, only five hours late.

Job gets done, I test it and sign the paperwork as "not tested when driving" and off he goes.

Twenty minutes later I go to leave, start the car and move forwards. Notice the ABS and Traction Control warning lights are staying on.

Park, call them. The engineer returns my call.

"I understand there's a problem"

"Yes, the traction control and ABS lights are staying on"

"I don't know why, I didn't go near there, are you home now?"

"No, I'm not driving it like this"

"Oh [pause] Do you want me to come back then?"

"YES, IT WAS WORKING BEFORE AND IT'S NOT NOW, OF COURSE I WANT YOU TO COME BACK!"

"OK. I'm on my way"

Bloody muppet dodgy fly-by-night installwallah.

He'd better fix my car or there will be big trouble. I'm in charge of our Vodafone account and if they don't satisfy, I'm pulling everything away from them. And it's a lot.

Vodafone installers aren't allowed near any of our company cars. After a couple of botched installs about 18 months ago we look legal action against Vodafone to get the cars sorted. 1 needed a new dash (the installed pulled it so hard that it cracked) and the other needed a new drivers seat (muppet drilled into it somehow) and after a couple of trips back to BMW the gear linkage eventually got sorted.

Self install ftw.

We've got a local company that do all ours and they're as good as gold. Heard bad things about Voda's install guys though :/

We've never had any problems with Vodafone installs that I know of, none of our guys have complained of botched jobs and I've arranged hundreds of them.

He's been back, can't find what's causing it and his suggestion was to take it to a Ford dealership and get them to run diagnostics on it. Not really that helpfull to me.

Vodafone themselves seem to be on the case though (this was a third party installwallah). They know my position and are pulling out stops to try and get this fixed now.

So, at ten to six I called back to corporate who tried to get through to the install team for me. He came back and told me they go home at half five.

I went ballistic, threatening removal of contract, that's the entire company's mobiles, around 500 of them, all our landlines and all our home worker ADSL lines. It wasn't this guys fault but that of the install team and he did a very good job of calming me down.

Left the office with a promise of a call from our account manager on my way home to arrange to get this sorted tomorrow.

Half a mile after I hit the A12, the two warning lights went out and didn't come back on again. The account manager called me about ten minutes later all apologetic. Not much I could say really about the problem apart from 'it's fixed itself' but I've been promised a call back again tomorrow to discuss the situation further.

I sense some freebies coming our way!

Vodaphoney messed with me.
So i sold the phone to a Portuguese chap and ****** them off. When contacted about it i told them to Stop ringing or come round my house for a Personal chat. They stopped ringing ;D

I am terrible sometimes but feel i have to get something back that others wouldn't. I cannot let them or anyone get away with taking the piss out of me and freak out totally.
My telly is another thing. I got it, they messed me about, i freaked, i kept it.
Basically they sent the biggest dude they had round, i fronted him, he crapped himself and i have seen knowone since, that was about 5 years ago.
Poor service that effects your life is Not allowed in my world. You effect my life i effect yours

I have many many many storeys of Pikey justice dealt out to abusers of there position.

I know for fact that a large number of Vody employees are backstabbing complaining slackers. Anyone of any use in that industry is basically a contractor as they know where the money is, but there's so much work they might as well be there permanently. Must absolutely slaughter their budgets.

Vodaphone used to be really pedantic about employment rules too, so I'm not surprised about the backstabbing if what rumours I've heard are true.
