So, like i said, I flunked my 2nd driving test last week and afterwards we scheduled a lesson today to go over some basics and then book another test. Got a phone call this morning from her telling me things are going backwards and I should find another instructor. I was still half asleep when she called so I just aid "ok.....and ok......"

Now I am awake, that can't be the reason, it's just silly (or is it?) I am thinking its because she is still charging me the old rates (£19.50 ph) where her new students are getting charged (£20 ph). So she is losing money with me.
 :dunno:

So now I have to find someone else and spent more money to get used to another car ! :pebbles:

50p/hour difference. Seriously doubt it's that mate. I don't know your situation so can't say whether it's true or not, but it's not impossible.

I'd say it's nothing to do with the money and everything to do with her pass rates. You're knocking her % pass rate down so she's getting rid. Just take your business elsewhere and carry on. TBH, it may even do you some good :)

I think it will do me some good, tbh my driving hasn't gotten much better that much.

Some instructors have a set style of teaching and if you're not the "typical" student she's after, this may be why she's getting rid. To be honest, I was taught by 5 different instructors before I passed, in 7 different makes/model of car, and I think it helped me feel comfortable no matter what car I drive. It could definitely do you some good :)

If it bothers you that much, couldn't you phone and ask her?

i would guess that its the pass rate %age more than anything else tbh.
she feels that you will not pass again under her.

fair enough really, she doesnt want to waste your money if she feels that she cannot help you pass.
