I didn't think this was possible but it seems it now is. I went to the MSN site and logged in. I've now changed my main MSN address to james@pigmo.co.uk and it should auto update people when they next log in. Might not change for an hour or so though.

Can people keep an eye out to see if it works OK?

Thankooooo :)

I can't get into my old address now so I guess it's changed over. Can somebody log out and back in again to see if I show up with my new details please :)

:embarassed:

Maybe I should have done that instead of trying to work out why I hadn't already! ;D

It's fine now :)

Out of interest what was your old address? Last I knew you could change your MSN address if it wasn't a microsoft based address. Mines currently a hotmail one that I'd like to get shot of if they ever get around to sorting things out to let me change it.

It wasn't an MS address, @bigwig.net :)

Does that mean I can change my @hotmail.com address to my @gmail.com for MSN Messenger logins and be finally rid of that god damned email... without having to tell everyone to add me again?

No, as stated above you can only change non-MS addresses. Or at least that was the case in the past.

I'd quite happily change mine too.

Been meaning to add you for a while - just done it!
