2.5" PATA HD

Hey all,

I think it's time to upgrade the HD in the iBook. I keep running out of space here on the 40 gig drive.

So I need 100 gig + drive for this with PATA or ATA interface and as cheap as possible :)

any suggestions?

Samsung.

You can get up to 160GB these days, but you'll probably not see any change from £100 if you go that big.

Samsung as Mark suggests are good, I quite like the Hitachi drives for notebooks but my last experience with them was a few years back so I don't know if they are still as good currently. :)

I have an aversion to Hitachi because of their path, though to be fair I had a laptop disk that turned out to be from them for 3.5 years. Only reason I pulled it out was because it was a 40GB and I wanted more. :)
