View Full Version : Hot Fuzz - Rated 'C' for Chuffing Brilliant
We just watched this tonight and we now want to jump through the air firing two guns, or even just 'pack heat'.
Well put together and there was no time throughout that either of us didn't find funny. We were laughing our heads off at the best bits. The action sequences are hilarious, even the pun style jokes about the female police officer are good.
Anyway we'd highly recommend anyone who liked Sean of the Dead or any other work of Simon Pegg to go and see it.:)

we are going next friday, so no spoilers please :D
I have to say as a SOTD fan, i am really ooking forward to this
Yeah I saw this last week - absolutely awesome! Can't recommend it enough! If you liked Shaun of the Dead, this is just as brilliant if not better!
Yaaaaarp! ;D
Hoping to go in the next week or so as well, I won a couple of cinema tickets through work so Mrs. Feek and I will use them for this :D
Rich and I saw this a couple of weeks ago.. its seriously one of the funniest films I have seen in a hell of a long time. I can't remember having sat and laughed so much during a film, along with the rest of the audience. Simon Peg and co are on absolute top form with this one :) You know the whole last quarter of the film was boys with toys having a laugh :D

Yeah, it just felt like they threw seriousness out of the window and went off on one :D Absolutely brilliant!
I saw this 2 weeks ago, the first half builts up the latter half very nicely. Look out for cameo from Peter Jackson as the Santa and Cate Blanchet as the CSI !
I haven't laughed this much in a cinema for quite a while, love to get it on DVD.

It was great until it got silly in the last half hour or so, imo.
I'll give it another watch though to make sure, when it's out on DVD.

absolutly brilliant film!! Dont normally "lol" in the cinema, but did throughout the whole of this film! Love the cast as well, so many familiar funny faces!

Thought the last half hour was the best bit !
I really liked it :) Not as good as Shaun of the Dead though imo but I truly love that film, it has everything possible I could want in a film :D
Definitely getting Hot Fuzz on DVD though and giving it another shot because I suspect I'll like it more a second time round. :)
Darned good film :D Can't decide which I prefer out of SOTD or HF, but they're both quality British comedy!

I actually thought the first 15-20 mins were a *little* bit dull, but after that I thought it was one of the best comedies I've seen in my life. The ending was absolutely brilliant and I'd recommend it to anyone :)
Saw it a few weeks back. Much better than SOTD!
I thought SOTD was absolute crap, but Ive heard great things about this, and I am dying to see it :)
It made me want to watch Point Break again!

It made me want to watch Point Break again!
Same here, ended up watching it on DVD 3 days later ;D
I was disappointed! I've been looking forward to this for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages and I think I'd hyped it too far. The first hour or so was ok, got a few laughs. The last half hour did have me laughing hysterically though. I think the atmosphere in the cinema plays a big part, I was in there with Chelmsford Mortuary's annual night out I think, my louds chortles were lonely in there!

Deffo not the same time as I watched it then, it was a riot in there ;D

I most be the only one that though this was pants.... I think i laughed about six times and nearly snoozed off.. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz
or maybe i was just to knackerd to enjoy it proper.. I just didn't find people going round blasting each other in the streets with shotguns and AKs particularly funny. I must be getting old.

We watched it on Sunday and both loved it - I didn't like SOTD very much so was a little meh about watching this but I really enjoyed it - laughed all the way through and would certainly watch it again.
I grabbed it on DVD recently. Great film, the shoot out at the end was ace IMO.
What's the situation?
Three midgets and a ****-load of cutlery!
Or something like that.
"...check out 'is 'orse!" :D
Paddy and Rafe as the Andys are brilliant. Wish I could grow such a magnificent 'tache! ("You've got a moustache." "Oi know!") The best delivered line in the whole thing has to be Paddy's "Murder, murder, murder! Change the ****ing record!", followed by Rafe putting a quid in the swear box. :D
