Safe NTFS mounting in Linux for Read & Write!

At last! I'm testing it at the moment and it seems to work brilliantly so far!

Linux NTFS writing has always been dodgy from what I've researched, this seems to be EXACTLY what has been needed. Anybody used this to a serious level? I've been using it for a week or so and so far "touches wood" it's been great. :)

How is the cpu load when using it? I have trialled other software in the past and it was always pretty demanding...

I've used captive NTFS before (which uses the actual MS nfts.sys driver to mount the file system), and while it's rock solid (it's the actual driver after all), it was a little slow on large operations. Since then I've used ntfs-fuse without any issues at all touch wood.

A guy I work with uses 3g and quite likes it.

It's slick, fast, and not high on CPU load at all - not that I've really paid much attention, I'll look at it more carefully and observe active threads when doing stuff on the NTFS partitions.

I used ntfs-fuse but was always a little worried about corruption - so I moved onto this when I found it and it seems well supported and documented. Over 1 week in and no issues as of yet!
