Thats the whole of BSG series 3 downloaded in HD and ready to watch over the next few days.
Lets face it, if its worth watching someone will upload it to newsgroups and probably in better quality than I could get on Sky or VM, these for example are Sky HD rips converted to Xvid :)
I also love the fact my wife likes watching Sci Fi and was egging me on to find all the episodes :)
If it wasn't for that deal I got with VM and the fact I would have to build a new media PC for the living room I can honestly say I could quite happily sack real TV tomorrow and not miss it :)
PS Lost SIII coming down right now :D

What episode are they up to with BSG now? I'm getting 18 now I didn't think the series had finished.
I'd be interested in Lost off you if you don't mind :D

:) Just finished downloading all 6 series of the Sopranos, a nice 26Gb download! We got 2 x 500Gb hard drives the other day...only 200Gb left now, almost time for another one!

I know what you mean there is so much stuff to get :( We're running out of space ourselves, need to get a nice large external HD :D
oh and also being able to do this is another reason I couldn't give a hoot Sky One went :D
What do you use for all your downloading Rich? :)

I've often hear said that The Sopranos is superb but like you I haven't seen it.
We started watching series in the way a while ago, downloading all the episodes and then watching 2/3 a night, it works much better for something like Lost and it keeps your attention rather than starting to forget the storyline between episodes, if TV was accessible in the way (how VM on demand should be) then I'd be drawn back to it, however because this is more convenient for me I break the law to do it :/

I've never watched BSG. As a B5/Trek/SG1 fan, I'm not sure it's my thing. :/
Wouldn't mind the latest series of SG1 and Atlantis though if anyone happens upon a backup. :)
The Sopranos is absolutely EXCELLENT television. Really, really fantastic. It did lose its way a bit but at no point was it boring.
And I really, really dont like gangster-type films etc. The Godfather put me to sleep as have many other gangster-based efforts!
I too am running out of disk space. A couple of Tb just isnt enough. I need to buy some more at some point in the future. Another Tb would do for now I guess.

As a B5 fan I think you'd very much appreciate BSG, its serious and has a persistent story arc like B5, its NOTHING like the original 80s series.

I'm also running out of HD space thanks to me downloading Enterprise and TNG (The only things I missed from no Sky 1), have to buy some 500gb HDs in the Summer I think.
As I've got no working dvd writer atm either, it's getting a bit messy :/
Do love the convenience of things though, I often download stuff simply because I missed it on TV.
I do the same with series', watch them over a couple of weeks rather than half a year. Anyone else into Heroes? I got up to date with it yesterday (ep 18) and now I have to wait until April for new episode to air in the US :( I'm out of synch with Lost too after not getting back into it after the 2 month Xmas break they had. Far easier to get it all in one hit :)

Agreed. I'm also a Trek/ B5 / SG fan and I love BSG. Its the most gripping scifi show since B5 imho. I do feel that S3 isn't *as* good as S2. Its been more story driven than action for the most part. S2 had some fantastic episodes. S3 does too, but I think so much happened that they had to have more story than action this year. The season finale is next week. Thats gunna be something. The net is great for this sort of thing. I hardly use my TV these days. If I miss a show, someone uploads it. Its great.
Anyone got the set of ST:Enterprise? Save me downloading it on my 512k connection through PN.
Fraid not. I'll buy them someday (sooner if someone like Play do another Trek boxset for silly money offer).
