This may be a silly question but whos interested in the BTCC?
- opening rounds are tomorrow, can't wait it should be an awesome year

Pre season form and in the know pundits say mr giovanardi in his vectra is going to win the championship...
But on the form of todays qualifying I'm putting money on a BMW, or at a push a Seat... - Team RAC cars were storming along with the privateer in Andy Prioux's old WTCC car...
Poor Team Halfords just don't appear to have the new Civics sorted and on the pace yet - but it will only be a matter of time... (at least they are build now!)

I doubt we will see an MG driver on the Podem again either :'(

Was a great set of races... just a shame that the new camera men with sentanta sports were useless... I know it was windy, but wobbly shots, missing all the good bits of action loosing focus on cars, not great coverage IMHO...

Better to watch it live up close and personal :-D

Its a shame this was at the same time as heading off to France.

However i'm looking to head to more events this year :D

I went on that site I banned myself from today, 200sx 60k FSH flame red, a very nice 1998 example without mods £3.5k. *sobs* I want soooooo bad :'( I have now banned myself again until I get a house. This probably makes more sense to Mike than anyone else :)

I recorded it - if a couple of you want it I could lob it onto my webspace?

It was a really good race - I was most impressed with the new guy Mat Jackson. Obviously made a stupid mistake in race 1 (and wtf with having no radio contact!!) but he was a bit unlucky to miss the reversal and then made good in race 3.

Seat are looking good again, the new Civics are going to be interesting when they get them set up properly and I am quite pleased to see a couple of BMWs in there, especially a diesel just to mix things up a bit! :D

I look forward to this season - I can see a lot of action between Giovanardi/Plato/Neal :D

EDIT:

Cant lob onto webspace - its nearly 1.5Gb!!

From reports after testing today it looks like the Vectras and the BMW will be front running this weekend.
Thruxton is the fastest track of the season which doesnt suit the Seats :(

Ive just booked my ticket for the Oulton Park weekend June 23-24 so if anyone from the side of the country is going give me a shout
