Cordless phone help.

Basically We have a 3 piece phillips phone set (kala vox 200). My parents have just bought me a Phillips CD130 cordless phone with base station. Now all phones are DECT (also I think GAP). Now, the CD130 won't pickup the Kala base station. It has an input for its own phone line, but surely we can get it to work?

Any help appreciated. I've tried registering the phone to the Vox main base station, but it doesn't find it.

Edit: I've got it to dial out but it doesn't pick up incoming calls?
