It is funny but didn't feel as satisfying as Shaun of the Dead because it just didn't flow as as well for me. It seemed more like a series of funny sketches than a full film, I got the impression they just wanted to fire big guns and look cool. To be fair that is a good enough reason for me. ;D
Oh no I disagree. I thought it flowed extremely well. There was true character development between Angel and Danny, and I absolutely loved how they tied in Danny's love for shoot em up movies. It was really just the perfect movie imo and I'll probably see it again today :p
If you haven't seen Shaun of the Dead, make sure you do :)
Much like Semi-pro waster seems to think, I think it's a superior film to Hot Fuzz, not that Hot Fuzz isn't great too.
Oh and while you're at it, get Spaced too :D
Oh no, I'm a big fan of shaun of the dead which was why I was so excited for hot fuzz to come out. I actually enjoyed it more
Ah fair enough. I was really excited about Hot Fuzz but it just didn't quite match up to expectations :/ I'm hoping a second watch might improve it in my mind.
Then again I love zombie films more than action/cop films so maybe that's why :D
Still, watch Spaced if you haven't yet :D It's awesome :D
Watched this last night, my it was fun. The comedy horror/gore bits had me chuckling my little head off, especially Tim Dalton at the end "this really hurts"..
been trying to get a decent copy of this but all I can find are CAMs

I might have one :D sound can be a little odd (there seems to be a buzzing) but the picture is very good
just had another look, seems good versions are about now :)
thanks for the offer
Release date is the 11th as far as I know.
But there are torrents around now for the release version ;)
Ah ok... I'm not a huge movie downloader really and prefer watching a movie on a tv rather than a computer. :)
I do watch films on the TV, not the computer. I only ever download full DVD images and burn them onto disc :p
Ah cool - didn't realise you could do that, thought they were all dodgy rips or cinema footages :p
I'm downloading a supposed DVD rip at the moment, saw it at the cinema so I want to see it again. :)
I'll probably buy the DVD once I can afford it.
Oh and same as Feek, although I download divx encoded copies and play them on my Divx compatible dvd player :D
Man I'm so behind in the game....
there are full DVDRs and rips on the web now, I normally just downnload a divx rip and play it on the TV, not much loss of quality tbh
Lol, cos like...we don't know that already :p
Meanie :(
I guess I'm just not l33t ;)
