Just finished watching this on STV - I'd forgotten what a fantastic, fun film this is.

I'd also forgotten how much of a babe Sally Field was. That gorgeous butt in those skin tight trousers http://www.bigstan.net/Images/HomerDrool.png

It is a great film for just mentally switching off to and enjoying, the second isn't quite as good though but still enjoyable in its own way.

I used to love this movie!!

Bandit: Well, go girl, go!
Carrie: (Driving) I'm goin' I'm goin! I got the metal to the petal and the thing to the floor!

;D

/starts singing "Eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin'
Ah we gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there
I'm eastbound, just watch old Bandit run" :D

My favourite line is:

There's no way, no way that you came from my loins. Soon as I get home, first thing I'm gonna do is punch yo mamma in da mouth!

;D

You're confusing it with Every which way but loose/Any which way you can, Kitten - also excellent movies :)

aaah. I think I'm going to have to hunt these movies down, they sound like good sunday afternoon viewing :D

If you do can I also suggest Cannonball Run (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082136/) also starring the legendary moustache that is Burt Reynolds, Cannonball Run II features a young Jackie Chan as well.

I haven't seen these films in years. I always wanted the car. Chicks love the car :D

I think Cannonball Run is my favourite of all those ones.
