I'll go looking through some holiday pics when I get home. The signs near playgrounds, schools and the like in Tennesee say:

"SLOW CHILDREN CROSSING"

The lack of a comma between 'slow' and 'children' made me laugh.

"Heavy Plant Crossing" has a similar effect when I see them over here. Also seen the "Cats Eyes Removed" signs with "RSPCA Aware" added to the bottom :p
