Well this evening Jarp brought a Wii home with him!

So far we've made proper Miis and had a bit of a go on Wii Sports (pwnd him twice in bowling and we got halfway through a round of golf before dinner... Where I was pwning him again :D)

Anyway, I have some Gamecube games we can fark about with but ideally we could do with getting some more Wii games.

So, anyone got any good suggestions for what games we should get or any good rental companies where we can rent some? I think it's mostly gonna be a social game playing situation (although I do fancy a go at Red Steel) so ideally that kind of thing would be best.

Jarp's gonna pick up a second 'mote tomorrow so we can play over the weekend without having to pass the lone 'mote around.

Wii RAWKS! :D:D:D

Not used them for wii games but http://www.swapgame.com/ has been great for other games and efficient. :)
There's a referral scheme thingy where the person referring gets a month free, but I feel a bit guilty saying 'take mine!' because it was Davey that recommended the site to me :p

Of my limited experience of wii games, Rayman: Raving Rabid would be good I reckon for social gaming.

have you got it online yet, if so then post your code in the appropriate place and MAKE SURE YOUR Miis have got creator IDs on them so we can have genuines :)

Need to get an ethernet to USB adaptor (£23 :/) for online stuff, once we do then we'll post codes. Dymetrie is created by Dymetrie and Jarp is created by Jarp :D This weekend then The Antipodean Midget will be created by The Antipodean Midget :D

Why not use the built in wireless?

I'd also recommend Swapgame, and if you go for it get a referral from Jen or Leo, I've already had 3 referrals so it would be time to spread the free month's around a bit :)

Why not use the built in wireless?

wireless router is ****e and would have to be set up next to the Wii... we don't have enough power sockets (and I still distrust wireless, moreso after the new neighbours put a letter through the door asking if there was a wireless network they could leech off for a bit). There's already a wired connection plumbed in (by me and my bro) next to the TV as well.

I'd also recommend Swapgame, and if you go for it get a referral from Jen or Leo, I've already had 3 referrals so it would be time to spread the free month's around a bit :)

I'll let them fight over who offers it to us :p

Leo can if you're interested in signing up. :)

I'd recommend Godfather, Zelda and Excite Truck for single player games.

And if you like golf games, Tiger Woods is pretty good :)
