Apparently Virgin balloons are nicking lots of the other lots business. Shame really, cos when you're in a virgin balloon it's one big ad - even this one had benners for a paper on it.

I would be terrified of doing something like that but I can see how it would appeal to a lot of people. If I could get the same views without being in a basket high up in the air with only wicker and a balloon to stop me falling I'd consider it though ;D

They must have taken some really good photos, the visibility looks good. How long were they up for?

Very - took off from just past Roxwell, landed in writtle ag grounds. They said they saw 6 in total from up there.

They must have taken some really good photos, the visibility looks good. How long were they up for?

I've seen my Dad's pics (digital) and a lot are pretty good. My mum has an APS SLR, so have to wait for develop etc. When I've got those I'll add them (I can add a few now actually).

They were up for just under an hour. Would have been slightly longer, but there was only one landing space so they had to grab it. Wind never went above 4mph, so they didn't get far (about 3 and a half miles).

I love hot air balloons. That's really cool. The only ones I've been in I've jumped out of :cool: I'd love to do a proper hot air balloon trip - but I don't think I'd feel safe without a parachute :embarassed:
